The Union Jal Shakti Minister chaired a meeting centered on the E-flow of the Ganga River and its tributaries.

About E-Flow

 ● Quantity, timing, and quality of water flow are crucial for maintaining freshwater ecosystems and the livelihoods that rely on them.  
  ● Benefits: Preserves the ecological integrity of rivers and their estuaries.  
      ○ Significant disruptions in river flow, such as the building of dams, pollution, and encroachments, have greatly disturbed the ecological balance of rivers.
