The inaugural Khelo India water games were held here.
  ● Location: Situated in the eastern region of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, on the right bank of the Jhelum River.  
      ○ It is part of a natural wetland that features floating gardens.
      ○ The area is nourished by the Arrah River, which flows through a northern extremity via a dark and deep channel known as Tel Bal.
      ○ The area is segmented by causeways into four distinct basins: Gagribal, Lokut Dal, Bod Dal, and Nagin.
