Researchers from the Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) have discovered a new beetle species called Clinidium lalitae in the Talle Valley Wildlife Sanctuary located in Arunachal Pradesh. This beetle is part of the Rhysodinae subfamily and is noted for its distinctive morphology. It belongs to a rare category of ground beetles that inhabit forest floors. These beetles are crucial for nutrient cycling and maintaining soil health.
