Launched by: The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) on Earth Day (22nd April)
 Aim: To enhance the tracking and documentation of worldwide ecosystem restoration initiatives.
 The initiative utilizes advanced technology, standardized data frameworks, and capacity development to rehabilitate at least 30% of degraded ecosystems by 2030, as specified in Target 2 of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF).
 It is a component of FAO’s AIM4Forests Programme, broadening its focus beyond forests to offer a comprehensive strategy for monitoring nature restoration.
